It was intense. Sounds like she's in touch with a couple of sympathetic and understanding people by now, at least. I hope she comes through okay.

I still haven't heard anyone talk about paranoid/reparative readings outside this situation...but it's definitely touching on a fandom dynamic I've seen in action, so it could be cool if it caught on.
