As I understand it, the library has the big-comics-publisher edition, but there's also a self-published edition that's split into 4 volumes. So you might've read volumes 1-2 of that!
The FFA discussion is pretty disjointed, because anon meme, but for a while there was someone posting "link to the previous post's thread" in every Check Please thread. So if you search the dememe archive (username/password are in the DW post headers) for "Check Please previous thread" you'll get a solid list of links.
The good/meaty discussion mostly happens right after an update drops -- especially the ones at the start and end of a Year -- and everyone's reacting to it. (Then it'll dwindle into fic brainstorming and hockey questions for a while, until the next update gives people more to react to. Although maybe you'll be into the brainstorming threads too, idk.) I don't have a schedule of when the updates were actually released, but it's probably findable? They were posted on Tumblr, it has dates on things.
If there's a specific update you want to see the reaction to, you can search its individual title (very handy of them to all have titles) or URL. Or find the date and just go through the DW archives, to find the post that was live during/right after its release, then ctrl+F Check Please in the comments to find the thread.
