That explains so much! And yeah, okay, I must've just read book 1 then, it's been a while and my memory is fuzzy.

I kinda want to see the fandom discussion about it because I am weirdly fascinated by fandoms I am completely uninvolved with and also because now I get why people were so into it and with that understanding, I want to see other people's feelings and thoughts about it!
