...I realize I'm just as knee-deep in this stuff as Erin Ptah is, but seriously, you don't have to meet many furries before you meet one who's part of a system, and after that, it's usually only a matter of time before non-medical plurality comes up in conversation in some form.

...Maybe knowing a bunch of furries without even being a furry is *also* unusual.
